The Fountain is a three-storey Victorian pub on Queen’s Road in Hastings. It’s had many lives over its’ 175 year history and is well loved – and well remembered – by generations of local residents.

In May 2026, the pub was taken on by mirrorballpaul and given a new lease of life as a mirrorball showroom, shop and bar, operating as Lounge Suites Galore.

mirrorballPaul has been supplying mirrorballs, rotators and mirrored props to the events and entertainment industry for more than 20 years. The Fountain is now home to some of the collection.

Lounge Suites Galore started life in 2025 with a simple idea: sell mirrorballs, serve drinks and play good music.

Pretty much everything you see is for sale – from ex-stock mirrorballs and mirrored pieces to props and other oddities. Have a drink, have a look around, and if you like something enough, you can probably take it home. Or at the very least, stick it on your Insta.

Good music is an essential part of the mix. We have DJs every weekend, playing an ever-changing schedule of music. We’ve got a great sound system and, along with the lighting, we take you from day time to night time.  Good drinks, good music – oh, and did we mention the mirrorballs?!

Cockles and Dreams is a local, independent food business which runs The Fountain kitchen. They serve good-value, great-tasting food during most of our daytime opening hours – including a smashing Sunday brunch (bacon waffles and Bloody Mary’s, anyone?)

Downstairs you’ll find our large horseshoe bar, with tables all around, and a couple of diner booths outside on Queen’s Road. Upstairs, we have two more rooms – a games room with a sparkly shark (obviously) and an even sparklier dining room with corner sofa and cocktail bar. Both are available for private hire.

Come for a drink. Stay for the music. Leave with a mirrorball.
